Why Eat Apricot Kernels?
Apricot kernels are, like most nuts and seeds, very nutritious. One of the nutrients they contain is called amygdalin, which is also known as vitamin B17.
Amygdalin is the essential ingredient that kills cancer cells without destroying the cancer victim's health.
How Does It Work?
Amygdalin contains glucose, benzaldehyde, and cyanide. Cyanide is believed to be the active cancer-toxic ingredient.
People get scared when the word “cyanide” is mentioned.
Many foods, such as apple seeds, bitter almonds, millet, sprouts, lima beans, spinach and bamboo shoots, actually have quantities of cyanide in them, yet they are still safe to eat.
Getting cyanide poisoning from, for example, apple seeds or almonds, is extremely unlikely.
This is because the cyanide remains “locked” within the substance and is therefore harmless when bound within other molecular formations.
Cancer cells, however, have within them an enzyme which unlocks the poison in the amygdalin, and in this way the cancer cells are destroyed. Normal, healthy cells do not have this enzyme.

Researchers at Imperial College London have been experimenting using cyanide to kill cancer cells, and state that any poison that escaped into the bloodstream would be quickly neutralized by the liver.

What Is "Laetrile"?
Laetrile was a patented drug made from the natural compound amygdalin.
Laetrile was created by simply extracting amygdalin from the soft apricot kernels, purifying it and putting it into a concentrated form.
The substance laetrile was discovered by a persistent biochemist, Dr. Ernst T. Krebs in 1952.
Dr. Krebs injected himself with laetrile to ensure there would be no toxic side effects. He conducted further lab animal and culture experiments to conclude that laetrile would be effective in the treatment of cancer.
